Leah – May 2018-19 Student of the Month

Leah is a member and Vice-President of the Voces Bel Canto women’s choir, Skills USA, and the FFA at HUHS.  She has served as Parliamentarian, Vice-President, and is currently President of the Hartford FFA Chapter.  Leah was awarded second place at the district speaking contest in Job Interview and Parliamentary Procedure.  She has been a member of the State FFA Honors Choir and the National FFA Choir.  Leah competed and won the State FFA Talent competition and was selected to compete at the National FFA Convention. 

Leah has volunteered her time at the Iron Ridge Fire Department Picnic, her local 4-H Club highway cleanup, the annual Antique Power Club Show, the Neosho Snowmobile Races and Dairy Promotion Farm Events.  With the Hartford FFA Chapter, she has participated in the Toys for Tots program, instructs young kids about agriculture, and helps out at the Washington County Breakfast on the farm.

In the future, Leah plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College to earn a degree in Ag-Business, communications and Dairy Science
