Nicholas – November 2019-20 Student of the Month

Nicholas has been active in various co-curricular activities at HUHS.  He has participated in Soccer, Volleyball, SkillsUSA, Model United Nations Club, and the National Honor Society.  Nicholas currently serves as secretary of the SkillsUSA Club and treasurer of the Model United Nations Club. Carter placed 3rd at the State SkillsUSA competition in Precision Machining Technology during his sophomore year and 2nd at the State SkillsUSA competition in Automated Manufacturing Team during his junior year.  He has also been active in WORS Mountain Bike racing.

Nicholas has given back to his community by volunteering his time at the National Honor Society Spaghetti dinner, chairing the SkillsUSA bean bag toss tournament, helping out at a middle school spanish competition and serving as a camp counselor at Camp Eagle Ridge summer leadership camp.

After high school, Nicholas plans to further his education in the field of engineering.
